Drink Overflow Pop-Up Campaign

A location-led social media campaign for Overflow Mobile Coffee Bar's Mango Tree pop-up, combining poster design, product styling, and Instagram copy to turn event details into a clear and playful invitation.

The brief

Overflow Mobile Coffee Bar needed promotional content for an upcoming pop-up at Mango Tree in Fonthill, Ontario. The campaign needed to communicate the location, date, featured drinks, and limited-time flavours while still feeling playful and consistent with the mobile coffee cart’s personality.

The creative direction

The campaign was built around the idea that all roads lead to Mango Tree.

I used a winding pink route graphic to guide the viewer from the event information toward the featured drinks. This turned the location into part of the visual concept rather than presenting it as another line of text.

The soft neutral background kept the composition approachable, while the green, yellow, and pink accents connected the campaign to the Mango Tree location and Overflow’s colourful drink offerings.

Designing the campaign

Product-first imagery. The vanilla iced matcha, banana bread latte, and classic dirty soda were placed prominently at the bottom of the poster so customers could immediately see what would be available.

Clear information hierarchy. The location appears first, followed by the visual route and featured drinks. This made the design easy to scan while scrolling on social media.

Social copy with personality. I paired the poster with an Instagram caption that listed the special flavours, event date, operating hours, and address in a friendly and conversational voice.

What I learned

This project reinforced that event marketing needs both personality and precision. The visual concept helps someone stop scrolling, but the hierarchy and event details are what help them decide to attend.
